7:15 Wake up. Take meds. Stretch. Drink water. Go to training.

8:00 Personal training session #4 with Maggie.

9:00 Breakfast. Smoothie made by Maggie, plus 1 banana.

I stopped at the grocery store on my home from training, and could hardly get out of my car. Why? Earlier, I walked about 2 miles, then trainer Maggie started with the torture of strength training. Lunges are the devil’s work. We did some shoulder and arm work, too. The lunges are what I’m going to be remembering for the next few days.

11:30 Snack. 1c plain non-fat yogurt, 1/2 banana, 1oz almonds

1:40 Lunch. 1 slice whole wheat bread, 4 slices low-sodium deli turkey breast, 1/2 tomato, 2c lettuce, 1/4 avocado, 1T Grey Poupon
