7:00 Woke up, took meds, stretched.

7:30 Exercise. 60-minute walk/jog. Good cardio this morning! I tried out the First Day-to-5k podrunner podcast for the first 30 minutes, and I like it! I would like to incorporate this as a part of my cardio program. It’s free on iTunes. I’m committed to shaving my 5K time down steadily for the next 2 months. The podcast was only 30 minutes, so for the rest of the time I listened to James Morris in the final scenes of Die Walkure. Finished up with Casting Crowns’ Voice of Truth, which seemed appropriate at the moment.

8:45 Breakfast. 1/4c (uncooked) steel cut oats, 1/2c blueberries, 1 EAS cafe’ caramel Carb Control shake.

10:45 Snack. 10 almonds, 1/2 grapefruit.


12:45 Lunch. 4oz chicken breast, 1/2c green beans, 1/2c squash, 1 medium banana.


Lunch, Day 71

3:00 Snack. 2 stalks celery, 1 wedge Laughing Cow Light Swiss cheese.

6:00 Dinner. 6oz tilapia, 1c broccoli.

9:00 Snack. 1c plain non-fat yogurt, 1/2c blueberries.
